Diane Hubbard has been appointed Secretary of the Morgan County Republican Central Committee.

She recently had the honor and privilege of serving as Statewide Campaign Coordinator for Indiana Treasurer Richard Mourdock’s successful 2010 re-election.  In addition, she is a founding member of the Indianapolis Tea Party and serves on their steering committee.

Ms. Hubbard’s political involvement started on her college campus at Ole Miss (University of Mississippi) where she served as a campus senator and was a member of the College Republicans, Committee of 82 Student Lobby, and the Elections Board.  She also worked on local campaigns in her hometown of West Point, Mississippi.

In 1984, Diane moved to Morgan County and eventually married Monrovia resident Tom Hubbard, the 4th generation owner of the landmark Hubbard Grain and Feed Mill.  She and Tom have one son Cory who

will be graduating in May from Columbia College in Chicago.

Volunteering in the community has always been important to Diane.  She has served on the boards of the Monrovia Festival Committee, Monrovia Homemakers Club, Monrovia Organized Baseball/Softball leagues, and co-chaired the PTF at both Mooresville Christian Academy and Kingsway Christian School in Avon.

Following the elections of 2008 and the crumbling of the American economy, Diane chose to leave her job as a program consultant for Junior Achievement to volunteer full time in political activities to help America return to a country of limited federal government and fiscal responsibility.

She has learned that one person can truly make a difference.
